This winter, the South Lakes Athletic Boosters are sponsoring the winter softball clinics covering general skills and pitching. The SLHS softball coaching staff will provide instruction assisted by members of the HRYS coaching staff.

These clinics are open to all young girls between the ages of 5-17 as of Jan. 1, 2013. 

If you want to learn how to fast pitch a softball now is the time to come to these clinics to learn about the drills needed to become a softball pitcher.  We have some really good pitching coaches (Liem Le, Bob Thomas and Gary Temple) who will be assisting the high school coaching staff. 

The boosters have been able to offer the league reduced fees for online registration when you register on line for all of the clinics.

Pitching clinics are 40% discounted by registering online for all clinics as opposed on walk in registration fee of $15 per session at the door.  The skills clinics are 30% discounted by registering online for all clinics as opposed to the walk in registration fee of $15 per session at the door.  So register on line now at;

The pitching clinics are held on Sunday evenings for players ages 8-17 on the following dates and time;

• ·         December 2, 9, 16:      5 to 7 PM.
• ·         January 6, 13, 20, 27:  5:30 to 6:30 PM.
• ·         February 3, 10, 17, 24: 5:30 to 6:30 PM.

Price: $100 for all 11 sessions or $15 per session at the door.

Pitchers: You MUST bring a catcher who is either attending the catchers’ clinic or bring a partner to catch for you.

The General softball skills clinics are held on Sunday evenings for players ages 5-10 on the following dates and time;

• ·         January 6, 13, 20, 27:  4:00 to 5:30 PM.
• ·         February 3, 10, 17, 24: 4:00 to 5:30 PM.

Price: $85 for all 8 sessions or $15 per session at the door.

The General softball skills clinics are held on Sunday evenings for players ages 11-17 on the following dates and time;

• ·         January 6, 13, 20, 27:  6:30 to 8:00 PM.
• ·         February 3, 10, 17, 24: 6:30 to 8:00 PM.
