Team RJedi from Sunrise Valley ES participated in the First Lego League Regional Competition on Saturday, November 17th.  The team designed and programmed a Lego NXT Robot.  The robot has to complete several missions that are created by the Lego League.  The boys were also responsible for research, presentations and showing their ability to work cooperatively as a team.  They took 2nd place in robot design and 2nd place overall.  

The team has been invited to the VA/DC Championship next month at James Madison University in Harrisonburg. The team members are Spencer Harris, Ryan Ferzoco, Zach Bell, Calvin Warstler, Jackson France, Max DeLeon and John Carr - along with their coaches, Joanne Woestman and Mitch Harris. The boys and their coaches are very excited at another chance to compete at the state level.
