Reston Hospital Center earned honors in U.S. News & World Report's recently released annual ranking of Best Hospitals.

Reston Hospital Center was ranked seventh, up from eighth last year, out of the 59 hospitals in the Washington DC metropolitan area consisting of Alexandria and Arlington, County, Virginia, and Bethesda and Rockville, Maryland.

In addition, Reston Hospital Center was ranked 10th in the state out of the approximately 125 hospitals.

Reston Hospital Center also added another high performing specialty to their rankings this year with the addition of Pulmonology. The seven high performing specialties are Gastroenterology, Geriatrics, Nephrology, Neurology & Neurosurgery, Orthopedics, Pulmonology and Urology.
