Laurie Levine, LCSW, announces the opening of her Psychotherapy Private Practice at 461 Carlisle Dr. in Herndon. 

Levine has been practicing therapy for over 20 years.  In her new endeavor, she hopes to assist the commmunities of Reston and Herndon, which she has been a part of since 1992.

Levine specializes in working with women, teenagers and adoptive families.  Many women are familiar with the struggles of the work/family balance;  Ms. Levine has helped many overwhelmed women learn to carve out time for themselves while also balancing all of life’s other demands.  She also helps anxious, angry and depressed teenagers who are at odds with themselves and/or their families find peace and joy in their daily lives.

Adoption is a large part of Levine’s clinical work. She has worked with all members of the adoption triad, including facilitating several support groups for adoptive teens.
