Srinidhi Nagireddy, a fifth grader at Hunters Woods Elementary, was one of the 25 Girl Scouts whose art work was selected from amongs hundreds of entries in the Girl Scout Council of the Nation's Capital’s art contest.
The art works were judged on the creativity and representation of the spirit of the 100th anniversary of Girl Scouting.
The winners were honored with a display of their works at the National Portrait Gallery during the Girl Scout Week celebrations and at the President’s Circle Dinner. The art works will continue to be displayed online and at various events to be held to celebrate the Girl Scouts 100th anniversary.
