Call animal control to take the cat to Fairfax Shelter where it will be safe. Or call Humane Society in Fairfax for help or a rescue group such as HART who can find a foster home for it. Bless you for feeding and making an attempt to find the owners.

Are you near Fox Mill Woods (Lawyer's Road)? There were fliers all over our n'hood for a lost black and white cat named 'Little Girl' around that time. I can see if I can find out if she is still missing.

Confirmed Little Girl is already home. Hope this cat's owner comes forward!

You can search & post on www.missingcritters.com for free. Your personal information is kept confidential. Simplest way is to take a photo with your cell and send it to post@missingcritters.com. Just put the word "cat" and your ZIP code in the subject line or body of the email. ...very very simple!

If you do take it to the Fairfax Shelter, the system allows you to automatically change possession from yourself to the shelter with a simple click. Very smart.

Thanks so much to everyone for your suggestions! So far, no one seems to know this kitty....We are still feeding him. He seems fine. He may be a feral cat.
